PDC 2011 Players Championship Day Two Tips

First off, I just want to thank a friend of Darts Betting Tips, Jez, for pointing out a faux pas I made in yesterday's selections. If you are wanting to watch the Players Championship, you can do so over at Betfair as long as you've a depositing customer. So, if you want to make the most of the £25 free bet and watch the darts, just sign up at the link below. Again, many thanks to Jez for pointing this out!

Now, last night's tips were, in all honestly, not the greatest. We saw Ronnie Baxter get thumped and were on the wrong side of two 6-5 defeats. All I'll say is that I have no idea how Wayne Jones makes a decent living playing floor tournaments when he doubles like that. I've never seen him double all that well on TV and since this wasn't on TV, I had high hopes. That hopes weren't founded. Still, I'm hoping we can push through this and make some real money now.

BDO 2011 World Championships Day Five Tips

A decent day for our BDO World Championship tipping. We are now 5-4 and we have a profit of +6.67 units, so we're flying already.

For some reason only known to myself, I posted a tip for the Alan Norris match, which is actually played today. We'll still be going with that and we have two more potential crackers to finish off the second rond of the BDO World Championships.

PDC 2011 World Championships Day 12 Tips

Right, we've got two days of stats to catch up on, as well as trying to catch our breath after seeing James Wade eliminated by Mensur "The Gentle" Suljovic and then Gary Anderson and Dennis Priestley serving up a cracker.

We're now 14-16 and we're in profit to the tune of +7.23 units, so we're looking good gonig into the next batch of third round matches.

World Grand Prix Day Seven – The Final – Tips

Well, we’re at the final and who would have thought Adrian “Jackpot” Lewis would have made it? He beat Phil Taylor in an epic encounter last night, taking it all the way down to the final leg of the match, recording his first win over the world number one on television. It now takes his lifetime wins of Phil Taylor to 3, but this is perhaps the most significant. In the other match, James Wade demolished Raymond van Barneveld in front of a very partisan crowd, but Wade managed to shrug it off, get down to business and make the final in this event, which he obviously loves.

So, the final of the World Grand Prix, the final chance for me to throw some tips your way until the Grand Slam of Darts on ITV4 in November. How time flies when you’re having fun, eh? Still, it’s been a great week, it built up to the big crescendo of Lewis beating Taylor and now all that’s left is for these two “warriors” to break out the tungsten and crown the 2010 World Grand Prix Champion. But spare a thought for the Phil Taylor backers, who have had their fingers burnt at 1/2! Well, maybe don’t spare a thought for them if you managed to pick out James Wade, or even better, Adrian Lewis, for the outright win.
