BDO 2013 World Championship Final Free Darts Betting Tip

So we're here. Another darts World Championship Final, and this time it's from the Lakeside, not the Ally Pally. This final is the one the fans were wanting, as both Tony O'Shea and Scott Waites are big hits with the crowd. Personally, I'm pleased for both men that they've made it to the final, as not only have they played the best darts all week, they're both deserving of the "Big One". We're going to see a new champion crowned, and I'll be happy regardless of who lifts that trophy at the end of the night.BDO 2013 World Championship Day Eight Free Darts Betting Tip

Yesterday we saw a great battle between Tony O'Shea and Wesley Harms. Harms has a bright future in the game, but he was yet again defeated by The Silverback in another classic match. If both men stay with the BDO, we're going to see more classic matches between them over the next few years. And before that we saw Scott Waites put Richie George to the sword, knocking out the youngster 6-1 in what can only be described as a route. George has a future in the game, but it was all about Waites once the match got underway.

We got our 10 sets in the O'Shea/Harms match last night, so the Free Darts Betting Tip is 6-2 after eight days of the BDO World Championship, with a profit of +8.65 units.

We've got two semi-finals today, which means two sessions. The afternoon session has a repeat of one of last year's semi-finals when Wesley "Sparky" Harms takes on Tony O'Shea in what has the potential to be another "Lakeside classic". And then we have Scott Waites taking on the surprise package of the tournament, Richie George.

Last night had everything. We got the excitement from Dekker and George going to a final set, as expected, and then we got a great performance from Scott Waites, which solidified his position at the head of the Outright Winner market. Waites will be confident he can take this down now, but Richie George might have something to say about that, as he's got nothing to lose and everything to gain tonight.

Jan Dekker got us over the highest checkout line easily, so the Free Darts Betting Tip is 5-2 after seven days of the BDO World Championship, with a profit of +6.65 units.

BDO 2013 World Championship Day Seven Free Darts Betting Tip

Tonight the quarter-finals conclude, and we've got two matches that don't inspire as much as last night, but I do think they'll be interesting for different reasons. We start with Richie George taking on Jan Dekker. Both men have shown real grit to get through, with their opponents having chances to put them away. But both men are through after scrappy matches. And then it's tournament favourite Scott Waites taking on Paul Jennings, bidding to go at least one better than last year. This could be the sleeper of the quarter-finals, as both men have impressed in their first two matches and both men will be hungry for that win.

Last night, two great matches and they would have been worth of semi-finals compared to tonight's matches. Wesley Harms and Darryl Fitton put on a BDO masterclass, and the 5-2 scoreline doesn't do justie to the performance of Fitton. He'll be gutted not to make the semi-finals, but Harms was just the better player. The same can be said about Tony O'Shea's win over Robbie Green. Both men fired in the big scores, but it was O'Shea's grit and determination, as well as his experience in BDO World Championship quarter-finals that got him over the line 5-3. Any two of those four men deserve to be in the semi-finals due to their performances, but we get a rematch of last year's semi-final with Wesley Harms taking on Tony O'Shea on Saturday.

A good win for Tony O'Shea last night and he covered the handicap line, so the Free Darts Betting Tip is 4-2 after six days of the BDO World Championship, with a profit of +5.4 units.

Tonight we quarter-finals begin, and we've got four of the BDO's biggest names taking to the stage. We start with Darryl Fitton of England taking on Wesley Harms of the Netherlands. Both quality players and both men will be confident they can make it through. And then we get the battle of the heavyweights - Robbie Green taking on Tony O'Shea. Again, both men will be confident of a win here to see them through to the semi-finals.

Last night, while not the highest quality of darts ever seen on TV, provdied a lot of excitement, starting with Jan Dekker squeezing past Garry Thompson in a tense clash. Then we had Paul Jennings comfortably seeing off Ireland's Jason Cullen in a 4-0 demolition. Scott Waites was net up, and he was pushed a little bit by Geert de Vos, but his quality shone through in his 4-1 win. Finally, we got another nip-and-tuck affair with Richie George just getting the best of Jimmy Hendriks - it wasn't a classic exhibition of quality darts, but it was an exciting match.

A good if nervy win for Richie George last night, so the Free Darts Betting Tip is 3-2 after four days of the BDO World Championship, with a profit of +4.15 units.
