Well, what an interesting first session we had today. If anyone missed Ted Hankey’s match and post-match interview, make sure to catch the highlights tonight, or find it somewhere on the internet. It’s definitely not to be missed.
Anyway, very little value to be had in the first round of matches, very few upsets (although Adrian Lewis losing was a bit of a shocker), so the betting has been a bit thin. We stick with our small stakes selections with our tip for the evening session.

The same can be expected tomorrow and, as before, because of the short format, we’re erring on the side of caution with our selections until we get into the longer format. Well, we’re ready to begin another tournament, although it’s a horrible one to start betting, as it’s a race to 5, which can throw up some funny results. So, with that in mind, we’ll be keeping out recommendations for bets low for this stage in the tournament. We have one tip today:
