Grand Slam of Darts Day 7 Tips

Well, what a great start to the knockout stages. A lot of action, a lot of drama and 50% strike rate for us. What can you do when a professional darts player refuses to hit one maximum while his opponent hits six? Still, onwards and upwards and we’ve got some cracking bets for Friday’s matches. Nice to see all the bookies have priced up as much of the action as possible for the Grand Slam of Darts knockout stages. So, without further ado, the tips:

Robert Thornton to score the most 180s Vs Darin Young: 10/11 @ Ladbrokes.
Recommend: 3 units @ 10/11

Under 8.5 180s in the Simon Whiclock/Steve Beaton game: 4/5 @ Stan James.
Recommend: 2 units @ 4/5

James Wade to beat Terry Jenkins: 4/7 @ Blue Square.
Recommend: 5 units @ 4/7

Three strong fancies, especially James Wade to beat Terry Jenkins. So, get your bets on nice and early, settle down for a Friday night in front of the darts and happy betting!

Grand Slam of Darts Day Six Tips

Well, now we get into the tournament proper and we can start having some proper bets, since the bookies have deicded to price up all the markets. Happy days! Anyway, the group stages were nice for a bit of a change, but there’s nothing better than a straight best of x legs match when it comes to betting.
So, without further ado, let’s get to the tips.

Tony O’Shea to score most 180s Vs Mark Webster: 4/5 @ Stan James.

Recommend: 2 units.

Over 8.5 180s in the Kevin Painter/Kirk Shepherd match: Evens @ Stan James.

Recommend: 2 units.

Now, enjoy the darts and happy betting!

Grand Slam of Darts Day 5 Betting Tip

Well, The Power lost last night, Anastasia lost and John Part took the huff with the crowd. Loving the tournament so far and we’re at the last day of short format darts, which is great for us bettors. Short and sweet today:

Scott Waites to beat Wayne Mardle: 8/13 @ Stan James.
Recommend: 2 units @ 8/13.

Enjoy the last night of group betting, let’s hope Hankey goes a bit mental for some added fireworks and, most importantly, happy betting!

Grand Slam of Darts Day 4 Tip

Well, what can I say? We had a man average over 100, take a 3-0 lead and then lose, playing some of the best darts he’s played in a long time. Still, that’s the problem with this short format and why we’re only betting small at this stage. The Grand Slam of Darts has been great fun so far, a great spectacle and hopefully you’re all enjoying the coverage, as I think ITV have done a great job with it, even if the interviewing team are a bit clueless at times. Still, Chris Mason deserves a proper commentating spot in the near future.
But I digress…here’s today’s selection.

Steve Maish to beat Kirk Shepherd: 4/5 @ William Hill.
Recommend: 1 unit @ 4/5.

Enjoy tonight’s matches, sorry today’s selection was up so late and, most importantly, happy betting!
