Well, we have one tip for the evening session. There could be three fantatsic matches and all could end up being very close affairs. So there is little value in the match betting, but we’ve found what could possibly be the best bet of the tournament in this session:

Over 11.5 180s in the James Wade/Gary Anderson match - 8/11 @ William Hill.

Recommend: 4 units @ 8/11.

Both players are very high scorers who can batter the treble 20 and we should get a lot of legs in this match, giving us a great chance to rack up at least 12 180s.

PDC World Matchplay Day Five (Afternoon Session) Tips

Well, we got a nice lift last night and the result never really seemed in doubt. Lewis threw some great darts, took the big scores out and made us a little money, which is the sweetest part of his performance. Two sessions again tomorrow (Thursday) and we’ve found some value in the afternoon session. We have to tips for you:

Wayne Mardle to beat Vincent van der Voort – 5/6 @ Blue Square.

Recommend: 1 unit @ 5/6

Terry Jenkins (-3.5) to beat Dennis Ovens (+3.5) (Handicap betting) – 8/11 @ Stan James.

Recommend: 2 units @ 8/11

Mardle ended up playing some great darts, against all expectations in his first round match and the result reflected that. We’re counting on him to continue his form at a place we know he loves.

Terry Jenkins impressed in his first round match with a great average and some big checkouts. We think he’s got too much for Dennis Ovens, who didn’t impress in his first round match against Dennis Priestley.

We’re confident these first two picks will set us up for a very profitable day. We’ll have our bet for the evening session up soon.

PDC World Matchplay Day 4 Tip

Well, we narrowly missed out on the main bet of the night last night, with Anderson-Hamilton hitting 8 180s. 21 140s sums up just how close we were with the bet. There was nothing that stood out in the afternoon session, so we’re back with a bet for tonight. Tonight’s tip is:

Adrian Lewis -2.5 legs to beat Colin Lloyd (+2.5 legs) - 5/6 @ William Hill.

Recommend 2 units @ 5/6

We’re confident that Adrian Lewis can beat colin Lloyd by 3 legs or more, so that’s tonight’s bet.

Well, we had a decent night last night with Steve Beaton ensuring we ended the night with a profit. We have to bets for tonight:

Over 8.5 180s in the Hamilton/Anderson match – Evens @ William Hill

Recommend: 2 units @ Evens.

Jamie Caven to beat James Wade – 4/1 @ Ladbrokes.

Recommend: .5 unit @ 4/1.
