2013 World Grand Prix Day Seven Free Darts Betting Tip

So, Friday night had almost everything you could want in a night of darts, with excitement, drama and great darts, and Saturday might not have lived up to that, but it was still a great night. We saw the gulf in class between Phil Taylor and James Wade at this moment in time, and we also saw the potential Dave Chisnall has shown finally come to fruition. Wade has never really been races at the tournament, and succumbed easily to Taylor, and while Justin Pipe put up a fight, his finishing, which was impressive in the tournament until then, finally let him down, and Chisnall steamrolled him.

Tonight is the culmination in a tournament that has taken some time to get going, but from the quarter-finals onwards, we got fireworks. It's a bit of a surprise final tonight, but I think the two most deserving players are here. No-one really troubled Taylor in his half of the draw, and Chisnall got into the groove more and more as the tournament went on, and his 10 180s against Justin Pipe summed up how his confidence has been growing. He's got the toughest challenge in darts in front of him right now, but I think it's going to be an exciting final.

I've also got a couple more tips for tonight's final for our Premium Picks subscribers, so if you'd like access to them, you can sign up below.

2013 World Grand Prix Day Six Free Darts Betting Tip

Last night was perhaps the night of the tournament so far. We started off with Justin Pipe showing why he's in the PDC's top ten, then it was a match that had nearly everything, with James Wade beating Simon Whitlock in one of the game's continuing rivalries. Then we had a Phil Taylor masterclass. Oh, and then Michael van Gerwen was knocked out by the in-form Dave Chisnall. So, the favourites tumbling last night, finally.

Tonight, it's the semi-finals, and we have one you could have predicted, and one that few people would have seen coming. If you had Adrian Lewis Vs Michael van Gerwen, or Andy Hamilton Vs MVG in your predictor contest, I don't blame you. But we have Dave Chisnall taking on Justin Pipe, both men deserved finalists. And we get a resumption of one of the oldest rivalries left going in the PDC, Phil Taylor and James Wade.

2013 World Grand Prix Day Five Free Darts Betting Tip

Another somewhat predictable night of darts, with Justin Pipe's victory over Adrian Lewis the only real shock of the night. However, if you got on Pipe at around 5/2, you were laughing. There were also wins for Dave Chisnall, Michael van Gerwen and Andy Hamilton. All four men were comfortable winners, with Pipe and Van Gerwen winning 3-0, while Chisnall and Hamilton eased through 3-1.

Quarter-finals tonight, and the lowest ranked player still in contention is Gary Anderson. We have 6 of the world's tpo 8 left in the running, and Justin Pipe is ranked 9th, so, all-in-all, it's another PDC major that has gone msotly the way of the seeds. There now looks like there's a gap building between the top 8 or 10 players and the rest of the PDC field.

2013 World Grand Prix Day Four Free Darts Betting Tip

I was surprised last night, not by the winners, but how most of the losers put up a fight. Connie Finnan will be ruing his missed opportunity to knock out James Wade; he had The Machine on the ropes and couldn't knock him out. And Wes Newton showed a fighting spirit he's not shown for a while. Ronnie Baxter put up a fight against Simon Whitlock, even if the scoreline doesn't reflect that, and Paul Nicholson had his chances against Phil Taylor. So while the favourites all got through, it wasn't plain sailing, and it made for an entertaining night of darts.

The second round finishes tonight, and we're got four short-priced favourites in Adrian Lewis, Dave Chisnall, Andy Hamilton and Michael van Gerwen. In a tournament that's mostly went the way of the favourites, will all four deliver?
